What is BeThere?

BeThere is a free live fantasy sports app for iPhone and Android. You join one real game (MLB or college football), draft a small roster of the players in it, and answer live in-game predictions, called Challenges, while it’s played, on one leaderboard with your friends. Everything is scored in points: there’s no real money and nothing to deposit. The more points you score, the more raffle tickets you earn, and those win real prizes in giveaways.

How a game plays

One game, start to finish, in four steps

  • The BeThere draft screen: choosing a wide receiver for your roster
  • A live BeThere Challenge during BYU vs Utah: over or under 124.5 rushing yards
  • The BeThere home screen: your live game, friends’ activity and a featured giveaway

  1. Pick your game

    Open Discover and choose a game that’s live or coming up. Bring your friends: everyone in the same game is on one leaderboard, from the stands or the couch.

  2. Draft your players

    Choose a handful of players from the two teams. Their real stats turn into points for you.

  3. Call it live

    Challenges pop up as the game moves: will this batter get a hit, how does this drive end, who wins? Answering is free, and a wrong call costs nothing.

  4. Win prizes

    Your players’ stats and your right calls add up on one live leaderboard against your friends. When the game ends, your points turn into raffle tickets for real prizes.

Is BeThere free to play?

Yes. BeThere is free to download and free to play, with no entry fees and nothing to buy in the app. No purchase is needed to earn raffle tickets or to enter a giveaway.

How do raffle tickets and prizes work?

When a BeThere game ends and you check your result, you collect raffle tickets. Everyone gets at least one, and a higher point tier earns more. You spend tickets in the Rewards tab to enter giveaways.

Can I play BeThere with friends?

Yes. Everyone who joins the same game is ranked on one live leaderboard, so the easiest way to play with friends is to join the same game. From inside a game you can invite friends to it.

Which sports can I play on BeThere?

BeThere has MLB baseball and college football, each while its season is on. The Discover tab in the app lists every game you can join right now: games in progress, plus games starting over roughly the next week.
